just to let everybody know that in order to access the zone ventrilo server from now on you need to upgrade to the latest version of ventrilo which is now 2.3.0.

the latest version of the client can be obtained from http://www.ventrilo.com/download.php
look for Windows i386 - 32bit
2.3.0. beneath that will be a download button which you need to click on to start the download.

so far as i can tell once you have installed the new version your settings are retained but don't quote me on that! lol.
